Here's the scoop: The page you get to when you come (or go) straight to MrAnalogy.com -- will have as its mission a general presentation of occasional thoughts and anecdotes to explain the where's and what's and sometimes even the why's of the photos that appear there. Elsewhere, more to the point, here at Pointless, there will be photos with little, if any, explanation at all. I take 'em because I like 'em. I make 'em because I want to. And I won't make any attempt to explain or elucidate or justify them --- for all intents and purposes they can be considered pointless beyond my interest in seeing the results of whatever experiment, project, brain-fart or notion motivated me to take them.

In fact -- what just now appears directly above this line will be about as much explanation as it's reasonable to expect for any (if not ALL) of them.

You can gleefully love or hate or take or leave them. Your choice. Some will be odd ... some will be weird ... some will be gorgeous (yeah, right!) and some will even potentially be grotesque in ways that make one wonder if I've completely allowed the cheese to slide off my cracker, so to speak. And that's okay ... they're pointless, after all.

Like a child blowing bubbles ... apart from the fun of it all, it's Pointless.
